Casica stopped suddenly when Hazar came from the clearing. Hello... he whispered soft. Go away Hazar.. casica said she didnt want anything to do wth anyone. Where is your Lucifer. My lady you smell f season. Bad thigs can happen if your alone. Good thing am here to protect you... his voice teased. Casica knew better she kept walking. Whatever Hazar go away. I know you need me just as much as I want you m dear casica. he muttered. She knew what he ment. Maybe Luc would learn his leasson if he lost her. Before she could say anything Hazar was on top of her. Her spirit was drained and their was no reason to fight. As hazar slid from 'top her a voice rang her ears. it was Luc. Shes mind now Luc why dont you go home to your empty lands. Casica kicked backwards hard and suddenly landing a kick pon Hazar. Will you shut up? face it babe. Im your stallion now. Why would you want to go back to the one that betrayed you. casca ignored him and went to Luc. What? casica asked thnking about what Hazar had said

Lucifer watched Casica's every movement carefully, heart straining to pull itself back together. "I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am." He paused, studying each of them. "I'm sorry for everything." His eyes never left Casica now, ignoring his rival calmly. "I don't expect you to return with me.. but I just wanted you to know. Now I have hope that I will live out the rest of my days rather than them ending quickly with a shattered heart. I love you, whether you love me in return or not."

Pale stag stood his ground, still not looking at Hazar. "But you must choose. Him," he said with a noticable amount of disgust, "or me." Luc knew if she chose him it would be difficult for her after he had given into temptation and tried another mare. It was a brief taste of freedom, but he regretted every second of it. But how could she go with a stallion who merely liked mares for how they could pleasure him or how beautiful they were. Luc had only done such a thing once and he regretted it. Hazar obviously did not. Elena, only visible to Luc, nudged his shoulder lightly, and sighed. "We're here for you friend," she whispered.

Casica lowered her head to listen to the words Luc had spoke to her. His words reminded him the days when they found each other after Ag's birth. Love had been on her and his mind then but now his was full of Lust. the curse of an ignis even though he wasent one. Casica felt sad in her heart as she looked into Luc's eyes. Not only did you hurt me.. but you hurt ag maybe even worse. You were his model....he looked up to you. and you set this example for our son. I just came to season hopeing we could try again. Her voice trailed off as tears whooshed from her eyes. she didnt want to thinkabout it. even though she had been healed the thought and memories stilol atacked her. But now.... I may be carrying the foal of Hazar. How could i turn from him if I hold his prodogey? Go and apologize to our son. Right the wrong you did their first. I will have my descison later.... The stallion's skin twitched, eyes fixed on her but blurred with a small amount of tears. How could he cry in front of his enemy? Because he didn't care. "But now.... 'You were his model....he looked up to you' "Lies!" He screamed, glad he was miles and miles away from Casica and Hazar. Agrona had thought he had killed his mother. Casica.. Luc felt sick. Disgusted. His own flesh and blood thought him a murderer. Elena had deserved it. It was more a mercy killing anyway.

"I'm sorry," he called from up on a ledge, now dull, blue eyes on his firstborn. "I never meant it. Any of it. I know you may not forgive me.. but your mother will be returning soon." He stopped himself. That would be a lie. "Hopefully." With that he started down the ledge to leave Ag alone to find peace.

Good idea making him believe that you are going to the godess. Now he wont come looking for you. Hazar said as he neared her. Now...lets finish what we started shall we? the look of lust covered his dirty face like a mask. Casica turned to him. You.. are a dirty piece of hatred creation. Get from here before you regret it. I sstill love Luc not you you dirty crap. Casica ran and lunged toward the brutes head leaving a bite mark with flesh hanging from it. She then ran. where she was running was unclear she just needed to talk to the godess. after all the godess knows all. She stopped in a clearing. Looking towards the skies. Mighy Afriel. she hailed. What do I do? I love Lucifer but he turned from me for beauty. I fell... unworthy. PLease godess.Help.....

g stppd high on the cliff looking over the land searching for his mother. He turned hen Lucifer came towards him. he listened carefully. father.. I forgive you. "Mighy Afriel. she hailed. What do I do? I love Lucifer but he turned from me for beauty. I feel... unworthy. PLease godess. Help.." The words echoed in the goddess' soul and she sighed. The troubles of mortals would never end would they? Perhaps she should just make them immortal and save them from it? No, then they would be in worse situations like the one she had gotten herself into. Laughing before she answered Casica she spoke in her mind much as the goddess Naneth had to lucifcer.

"Casica my child, if you love him; why dwell on your quarrels? Look at how your actions will affect your future. If you keep bringing him back to his failures, what do you believe will happen? Neither of you will be happy. Lucifer has acknowledged he was wrong and you should accept that. Know that he is sorry for all he has done. It is not my choice whether you return to him or not. Do as your heart tells you, not your mind. Do not seek vengence. Seek love."

Lucifer turned down the path to get to where his son was standing. "father.. I forgive you. And i still do look to you for advice and guidance.. . . . . . but will you accept me back as your heir." "Yes." Was all he said.

Mighty Afriel.. I see what you mean.. but what is to say he wont hurt me like this again. It was all becuase of beauty. I wish I cold presetn myself better with strenght just to please him...I really do love him. but it is me who drove him away, my ugliness. casica hung her head and laid down 'pon the ground. Please Afriel just tell me what to do.. . . . . . . f only i wasent so lustfull. I wouldnt have seen any of it if i wanted to go to him to carry a child to replace the one removed from us. casica forgot about her little daughter. Did her spirit reach yu my godess?

To all of what Casica was saying, the goddess listened politely, but one question in particular tore her heart. "Did her spirit reach you my goddess?" Of course. She was a mare that had lost a child. Poor dear. "Yes, yes she did. She lives in the holy lands now. Safe and happy."

"Beauty can trigger a stallion's instincts. It is up to them whether they choose to act on those instincts or not. It seems Lucifer had choosen to act on them. A mistake yes, but one he regrets and will continue to the rest of his days. Every day he wakes it is another of feeling that guilt. His betrayl of you. Imagine that for a moment Casica. And as proud as a stallion as he is, he can be humble enough to endure the pain and not harm you anymore. If he hurts you again, it will be the end of him. Not through me, but through himself.. he would perish."

Casica felt a wave of reliefe wash over her as she knew her baby laid safe with the godess.mmany days she wasted sleep hopeing. Casica was now more at ease she felt what she should do. Thank you Afriel. But I do have one more question. Could I get my season back? I have a feeling I am not carrying hazars baby and would like to give this to Lucifer. casica arose ready to return to Luc once that the great godess would approve or deny her wish.

"Thank you Afriel. But I do have one more question. Could I get my season back? I have a feeling I am not carrying hazars baby and would like to give this to Lucifer." The goddess smiled, nodding slightly. "Of course. I am happy to grant you your request. Farewell Casica and try to remember which deity you should really be following." With that, the goddess disappeared, returning to Sanctus Dominatio.

casica was relieved when she felt the godess depart from her. She now knew what she was to do. Trotting became faster as she knew where she was to go. Luc must be talked to first. Casica psuhed her way through the familar clearings. She pushed through the last one only to find hazar standing their. You bastard. you are under me and you defy mne by attacking? back of Hazar I dont love you. you dont need to love me. he grinned ashe picked up on her estrus. I obviously didnt get the job done last time so i must finish what i started. cas stood still untill he reared to mount she shot uop with her back legs to kick him in the face. After a few hard blows hazar laid blood soaked. and gasping for air. Casica looked upwards prasing the godess knowing she was with her in that fight, casica ran to where her colt always laid knowing his father would be with. Lucifer. she whispered Our daughters spirit is safe with the godess.. She didnt say anything else as she stood staring ast Lucifer

"Lucifer. she whispered Our daughters spirit is safe with the godess.." Luc's ears pricked forward, pale but shining eyes fixed on Casica. So, she had choosen to come back after all. "That's wonderful... but.... why do you have blood on you?" He looked concerned, but kept his distance, eyeing her. What had she been doing if she was covered in blood? Surely not trying to reach the goddess like that. His pelt twitched, shifting uneasily in Casica's precense.

The goddess had been pleased when she knew Casica had made the right choice.. and even when she had fought off Hazar she was proud, but Afriel had many things to do. A war to attend to. There was no congratulating or praising to be done. Work. The well being of her world was much more important. Somehow she would fix it, but if that failed she could always create a new world for her children to live in.. one that was safe and away from the death and sadness.

casica listened to his words. she could tell he was worried about her. My dear Luc.. I was not trying to reach the godess in the way you fear. She came to me.... The blood is hte blood of another.. i believe you would be proud. Hazar will no longer stalk this herd. I know that the godess was fighting him with me. i waas not alone. i want to stay with you Lucifer.... if you want me to stay with you. I have a suprise for you.. she whispered ashe she walked away. Stay here. Send Agrona away. Casica was going to please him with the return of her estrus. but she must look scary she thought as she walked to the water. she dipped her body in watching asthe red streaks flowed away into the waves that carried them away. She too was now a murder but it was just.. and she didnt care. casica ran back to luc hopeing he would be please.d

"My dear Luc.. I was not trying to reach the godess in the way you fear. She came to me.... The blood is the blood of another.. I believe you would be proud. Hazar will no longer stalk this herd. All through what she had said Luc had not smiled. His joy was beyond that, all thoughts of the past day were obliterated. "Stay here. Send Agrona away." Lucifer did as Casica asked, now grinning.

The beauty of his mate stunned him, forcing him to take a step back. She was so much more beautiful than the other mare whose name escaped him. He lipped at her mane and..
