.Toxicity. Look at you Gettin' more than just re-up Baby, you Got all the puppets with their strings up Fakin' like a good one, but I call 'em like I see 'em I know what you are, what you are, baby Dusk had settled over the beach. Night was falling and soon all would be settled in a blanket of darkness. Only the mother moon would shed her light on this land. Gazeing warmly down on her children with that ever serene smile. Time always seemed to trickle more slowly during the night. As if it would eventually stop and night would stay here forever.
That however was just a hopeful wish.
It was here on the sandy banks that the unusual marked mare stood. Hooves were planted in the warm sand, coronet buried under the tiny grains. The sweet water trickled forward, splashing on bare legs. Wetting down legs worn from traveling such great distances. It was peaceful here. The soft lilting cry of the water and the chirps of nearby crickets in the brush further back. Music to those that could take solace in such things.
The skull mare, as some would come to see, was alone here. Drinking in the solitude it had to offer. Left to pry into her thoughts and watch the sun sink behind the clouds and watery distance. She seemed entranced perhaps. As if caught up in some illusion that she simply couldn't break free from. What was wrong with her? Hard to tell really.
As darkness finally fell she'd seemingly snap back to reality. Gaze trickled away from the horizon and towards the milky stars twinkling in the sky. Finally, she felt free to move and to enjoy the night. Night always brought about a certain feeling of freedom that nothing else could. It was...exhilirating.
Turning away, traveling down the sandy bank and splashing through the tide at an easy walk. She was in no rush and there were no dangers nearby. That however didn't mean she wasn't attentive. Even with her dreamy attitude she was fully aware of her surroundings.

The deep red that filled the sky had settled gently over the sandy landscape as if it was a blanket. The heat which was emmitedfrm it wasnow bareable unlike the heatthat swelled the noon hours. The gentle lash of the cool liqids running up the sand and trickling back down was enough for anyone to lull the most fierce giant to a gentle rest. Including this one. His eyes slowly removed the sleepyness from themselves. Long legs stretched out as the brute swiftly raised himself. Sand particles slowly fell from him. Gracefull limbs outstretched as he trotted closer and closer to the gentle waves. Head lowered letting the muzze take in the water that was so badly needed. Dome rose high about his body serching the landscape. Only seeing another. dd he stop and look. tail lashed gently against his sides as the waves lapped up his legs leaving the hairs a tint darker than they already were. Stallion emmited a low whinny as to catch the mares attention but also so he could hear the echo it provided. Small steps were taken towards the mare which left the sand with tiny circle imprints that revieled his path to the world untill high tid would knock it out. Stallin stopped a few feet short of the lady looking her over..... not knowing what to think.

.Toxicity. Look at you Gettin' more than just re-up Baby, you Got all the puppets with their strings up Fakin' like a good one, but I call 'em like I see 'em I know what you are, what you are, baby Grey gaze lifted, focusing on the waters as they lashed about. Her attention however didn't remain focused on the water for long. Instead the sound of approaching hooves caught her attention and then the echoing of a whine. The heavy foot falls and the deep voice confirmed that it was a stallion. Her form would swing about, turning to face the approaching brute.
She hadn't noticed him before. Which meant he'd be quiet enough that in her former daze he'd been ignored. Now however he was fully aware of his existance. Once he came close enough her head would cant to the side, peering at him with one eye. The reason? She was blind in the other. Because of this it was much easier to view him with her head tilted.
Once his form had been taken in she'd turn her head back, both eyes visible once more. She'd paw the sand, creating gouges in the damp soil. When she'd deemed him close enough to talk to she'd pick up her form, looking bigger then she really was. What for? To look more imposing in case he was a threat to her. It seemed unlikely but once could never be completely sure.
"Greetings stranger, what brings you out this cool evening?"
Her words were tough and brittle, as if she'd spoken for the first time in a long time. In truth it had been quite some time she she had. Then again, she'd never been the type to mingle with other for very long. [OOC: Thanks for the response. :3 <3 I'm glad I get to RP]

Stallions form swayed with his steps as he reached the mare. In his mind he began to wonder how he had never seen her before. He had been here his whole life never to be intrurpted. He was a very weird Ignus for he could not control his anger and other emotions which was why he was here. He almost smiled seeing the mare straighten up and look scary. Stallion saw the way the mare turned to look at him. He opened his mouth as if to speak but nothing came out except a small cloud of dust. He quickly trotted away letting his legs gracefully carry him. The lad lowered his head to allow the liquid sooth his savaged throat. He returned "Sorry... I dont believe I have spoken since I was little. Not many around here. what brings me out on the cool evening is exactly that. It is nice not having the bright light bring down its hatred heat 'pon us. What brings you out my lady? Brute cleared his throat again as he turned he moved his dome sideways taking in the fantastic coloring of the lady. her shape, her size, and with nostrials flaring he took in her smell. No smell of another brute was detected on her but stallion was un sure. He wathced her waiting for her responce. Hopefully he no longer needed to be alone in the furious beachs day and the cool winds of night.

.Toxicity. Look at you Gettin' more than just re-up Baby, you Got all the puppets with their strings up Fakin' like a good one, but I call 'em like I see 'em I know what you are, what you are, baby Seemed inclined to let him go about his business. He was no threat to her from what she'd gathered. However that didn't mean she let her guard down for a moment. He was still a threat no matter what and she wouldn't stand for any brutes trying to push her around.
"I've been traveling. Looking for a land to claim as my own. I'm not sure if I'll find them or not. We'll see. The beach was a good resting place"
and that was all there was to it. She was simply here traveling and she'd chosen to rest here before continuing on. While the company was bearable she had no wish to stay here for to long. Certainly maybe another night or two until she was well rested. Then after that she'd probably move on. Until that time came though this stallion would provide some form of entertainment for her.
"You seem to know the area well.. Do you live here?"
Had she mistakenly tresspassed on another equines home? It didn't really matter though. He didn't seem to upset by her appearance here and there seemed to be no real resentment towards her. There for she was easy to accept that he simply wanted to speak and nothing more.

Stallion pawed the ground a little out of bordum. his ears flicked downwards listening to the ladys words. [bNever hurts looking for our wanting your own land. It is a good to have ambition. I live here... but they are not my land. If I have a place I own then I need to stay and protect it../...that takes the fun out of wandering. I have lived here long enough i say its my own... No one ever comes here. But you are more than welcome to stay as long as you would wish. [/b] The brute just really wanted some company. It was very lonely on the beach. Friends were hard to come by when your an Ignis. Brute turned away from the lady. Want to see something amazing? Follow Me if you wish. he was trotting off to the canyon.... his favorite place. He started off hoping that the lady would follow

.Toxicity. Look at you Gettin' more than just re-up Baby, you Got all the puppets with their strings up Fakin' like a good one, but I call 'em like I see 'em I know what you are, what you are, baby Stared at the other equine closely. What was he trying to pull? Living here but not owning the lands. It was strange but it also made her feel more at ease. With out him claiming this beach she was free to come and go as she pleased. When he mentioned her staying here for as long as she wanted her ears would twitch faintly. Stay here? Again she doubted she would linger for long here. This wasn't her home.
"Slightly strange to live somewhere and not own it. However equines are free to do as they wish"
Who was she to tell him otherwise? When he turned and mentioned following him to a great place she'd hesitate. Then after a few moments turned and troted forward, keeping his form on her good side so she could see him. Perhaps it was dangerous traveling with a handicap. For her though it was just another challenge to over come. Being an Ignis and all, she was tough and her pride as a warrior wouldn't allow her to fall prey to anything. If she did she'd die fighting for what she believed in.
"So where are you taking me?"
She was slightly curious to know. It wasn't every day that you met an odd stallion that was friendly. Most were pushy and tried to throw themselves on you. In a way she was glad he wasn't quite like that. Mellow really for one of her kind. For surely thats what he was. He smelled like one there for he had to be one. Unless he was some muddled half-breed. They existed and she'd been surprised at how some turned out.
"You're a full blooded Ignis, are you not? Also I've come to realize we do not know one anothers names yet"
They'd been chatting for awhile now but introductions had never taken place. With that in mind she'd venture a bit closer to the brute but was mindful to keep a small distance for protection. Again, one could never be to sure.

Brute was almost suprised that the lady had followed him... Something was very different about her He really didnt know. what it was. He trotted along for a while hearing her words and formulating a answer. Head swung as he slowed to a walk. checking back every now and then to see if she was still behind him. Without turning around he said aloud. I call it the keys its a small inlit out of the rock overlooking the water. He kept quite until the reached the base of the mountain. I am full Ignis warrior... nothing else to be. With that he trotted up the steep mountain side. grunting as he walked as the steepness grew harsh. He turned around breathed in the air smelling her and saying her name in his mind, the brute being an ignis was also trying to detect the smell of a mares season sencing none he continued upward. My name is Branded he said as he looked out the hole in the cave looking over the beach seeing the moonlight ruffel the blue waves.

.Toxicity. Look at you Gettin' more than just re-up Baby, you Got all the puppets with their strings up Fakin' like a good one, but I call 'em like I see 'em I know what you are, what you are, baby Followed along behind him with out making a fuss. She was simply following for the sake of knowing where he was going. She had nothing better to do and he hadn't seemed like a bad stallion. No threat to her or her life. There for she continued to follow him and whenever he glanced back at her she'd perk her ears up. Her expression remained reserved though. As if hiding how she truely felt from him.
"I see... You know these lands well then?"
She wasn't going to try and push any information out of him. As for him trying to detect her scent she was just coming into season so the smell would be faint and hard to notice. Certainly the idea of having a foal had crossed the mares mind a few times. She however wished to try and wait till she'd found a home to raise the young one in. It was less dangerous then traveling around pregnant or with a young one attached to her side.
"I see.. Then we are both of Ignis blood lines"
She took great pride in being what she was. Being an Ignis was an honor and something she'd always be able to pride herself on. As they arrived at te cave-esque structure she'd peer out at the ocean. Drinking in the view and remaining quiet. Certainly she didn't have to express how beautiful it all was. He already knew.

Brute studied the lady as she looked out at the scenery. He could tell that she enjoyed it. With the soft whispers of the wind he picked up her smell. It seemed un-soiled but soon the faint little odor of season danced in his nostrials. He shook his head to get rid of the smell. He couldn't think of that now. When you are aban.......on theses lands all your life you get to know them. Especially when your alone... he kind of stared at the mare with gentle eyes. I dont stay here all the time.... I have my own land that is near but I cant get over some of theses sights. Too beautiful. He thought to himself of claiming the mare and off they go to his land to live happy ever after.. but he never believed in that kinda fairy tail crap. But it wouldnt be so bad to have company. Got to love being an Ignis... Not one day do I wish I was something or someone else... that was a lie. If he wasent so lustful or war hungry maybe he would have found someone by now.. Sure he had pride.. but maybe too much Status- Complete Word Count-200

.Toxicity. Look at you Gettin' more than just re-up Baby, you Got all the puppets with their strings up Fakin' like a good one, but I call 'em like I see 'em I know what you are, what you are, baby If she'd caught his slip up she didn't say anything. It wasn't her place to ask about his past or why he was alone. At the news of having his own land her ears would perk. So he did have his own place. He just chose to stay here. Curious she'd swing her gaze over to him, watching his form with her good eye. Sometimes it was hard to be half-blind. It made things difficult when it came to fighting. She'd lost sight in it so long ago she didn't really think about it much.
"I see...Don't you have mares to protect? With your own lands I would think leaving them alone would be a dangerous thing"
Unless he'd chosen not to have any mares with him. That would be unusual but there were perhaps reasons why he didn't have any. Then again she could be wrong. He could have mares that he left with a lead mare to watch the lands. Mares after all were just as capable at watching over and protecting lands as stallions were.
"I can understand how you'd love being here. These lands are beautiful. However I think there are better ones out there"
Onces that could be potential homes for her. Then again for all she knew she could come across lands that were already taken. Joining a herd though was not something she wanted. Starting her own seemed like the best option out there. One she wanted more then anything else.
"I wouldn't trade it for anything else. There are some prices that can be paid to be one but in the end the results are worth it"
Again, she'd given up sight in her right eye for her own pride. Fighting when she was but a foal. That however had been long ago and she was much to old to think of such bleak days.

Brute cocked his ears at her speaking. He tried to think of some remark about her comment about his mares. After all it was his own fault he didnt have any. Truth was probably the best option. I dont have any mares....... I have alwas wanted a herd but I think you are the first lass i have seen in 3 years. Sure he had his own land but it was so secluded that no one even knew to go their or that it was their so he had no need to protect it. I am sure their are better lands than here but.... I have always been waiting for the one mare ment to be my lead come along and i always thought it would be here.. so I never went off wandering. But I may leave the4ses beaches.. It is dumb to live on land that is not your own. Head tossed preventing her season from entering his nostrials Stallion wacked his tail against is rear feeling the scars that laid almost hidden pon his body. yea.. its super terrific to be an Ignis. he mttered quietly Status- Done Words-200

.Toxicity. Look at you Gettin' more than just re-up Baby, you Got all the puppets with their strings up Fakin' like a good one, but I call 'em like I see 'em I know what you are, what you are, baby Dark grey gaze focused on the brute as he spoke. No mares and a land he hadn't bothered to keep under his rule. Surely he needed help in maintaining his lands. He wasn't doing that great of a job on his own! However she wasn't one to but into others affairs. It was really none of her concern with how he ruled and led his lands.
"I hope to have a relatively large herd. Not to big but not small either. Something that could survive in any condition"
She'd shake her head at his words. Simply waiting for some one would not do anything! Surely he should know this! Flicking her tail from side to side she'd move closer to the opening, peering out at the ocean with a stern gaze.
"My advice is to find a few mares and a lead mare. Then return to your land. Sitting around waiting for them will get you no where"
It was advice and nothing more. He could do as he wished. She wouldn't tel him anything more. For now she was content to reflect on his words and the way he was doing things. She knew though that sometimes you wanted to stay somewhere peaceful. However her Ignis blood drove her onwards. The need to be in a herd and perserve her blood lines would always take over her need of peace.
[ Short... I need to go. >_< Sorry!]

Brute studied the mare as she shook her head most likely at him...... How do plan on managing a herd without a stallion? Not that you are incapable leader just that you are incapable on carrrying on the blood lines alone. he put his head down and let his tail dance across his rump. His ears cocked at her words to him. He grew a bit angryy at a lady for stepping into a brutes affair. but nothing was said. It is pointless waiting on something or someone... I think I will take your advice and find myself a lead. After all I think I may have found one... He turned and looked at her. He could tell at the way she cocked her head she had problems with her eye, so he went to the good side. Toxicity.. he questioned softly. I do not fight to solve my problems but do not doubt for a second that if i needed to fight that I would turn away. That is why I am here alone my stupid pride. Wil you follow me not just to my land but for always as my lead?Word-195 OOC-icky post

.Toxicity. Look at you Gettin' more than just re-up Baby, you Got all the puppets with their strings up Fakin' like a good one, but I call 'em like I see 'em I know what you are, what you are, baby It was a good question. Surely she'd need a stallion to help her manage a herd wouldn't she? Then again she thought herself fully capable of handling it on her own. It was her own will that she'd manage this feat. Even if she had to fight for the rest of her life. It was her choice to take this path and she couldn't give up on it.
"I would eventually find a stallion. Certainly my herd wouldn't just be mares"
She'd need a stallion or two to help produce foals and also to watch over the herd. As for the stallion himself. He'd have to get used to her upright away of handling things. She thought herself just as capable as a stallion and wouldn't be seen as a lesser being then him. Her current affairs involved a stallions way of thinking and this was no diffrent. Plus her Ignis blood told her to stand up and express herself. With a temper and a stubbotn streak she could be difficult at times.
"Found one...?"
She was obviously confused by what he meant. Then as he continued speaking her ears would perk and as he approached her good side she'd watch him closely. Go home with him as his lead? It was certainly surprising and she was at first lost for words. What was she supposed to say? He'd just offered her a home and a lead position. However if she were to accept she'd need to lay down some of her own laws.
"The only way I would be willing to return with you is as equals. Not as a lesser equine"
It wasn't asking much now was it? If he wished for her companionship alls he had to do was give her a say in how to run things.
