So, I've been thinking about stuff to bring more fun and such to the site. After all, that's what it's for. For you guys to have fun. I'm here to make sure it happens, but lately I know I haven't been doing that great of a job. I've been kind of inactive as of late, but that's changing. I've been kind of busy with real life stuff as I'm sure you have to.. It's summer, we have other fun things to do. xD
Anyways, I have some things I've been thinking about.
The word minimum is currently 150 words. I think this has been scaring some people from joining.. I feel like it should be lowered or destroyed completely. =S The lowest I would lower it to would be 75 words, and that's almost nothing.
The store seems like it's useless to most of you. Should we keep it? Add more items? Destroy it and have something else in its place?
We need more people to play the WraithxDiomedes. I really have no comment on this.. we just need people to play the last two.
Do we need more RP boards? Do you guys think we have enough or any ideas for some more? Or do you think we should have another category for a different type of RP boards?
Should we only have one skin? Or should we keep all the ones we have? I hope you guys have noticed when you go to modify your profile you can change the skin that you see xD Oh, and any ideas on which one should be the default skin? The default skin is the one that guests see/you when you're not logged in. I will also be changing the cbox colors to go with the colors of the default skin.
Keep the 'Of the Month' sidebox or no? I kinda like it..

I like the of the month sidebox.
We need to encourage members to return, and get more advertising done perhaps to bring in new members.

I know =S I've sent out a few emails to everybody.. and I was waiting to get a few more of you guys back before I started advertising. Only one or two members logging in in the past 24 hours isn't really appealing to guests even though new members joining is how you get more people to join -.- I might just start advertising anyway.. |

I know I'm new to the site, but if you don't mind I'd like to put in my two cents.  I think you should keep the word minimum as it is. 150 may sound like a lot, but really it isn't bad at all. If it were to go any lower, things may start to drag, you know? If you think it might be scaring people, perhaps maybe put a simple sample post underneath the rule of roughly 150 words...? I think that people don't use the store as much because it takes time to be able to purchase anything from it. I'm not saying lower the prices; if anything, the higher prices encourages people to rp more so they can get what they want. I like the idea of the store, personally. :] The 'Of The Month' Box I like. It's different, and I haven't seen that anywhere else. Gives people something to work for, too. |
