If you don't know what I'm talking about, then go read the Site-Wide Mini-Plot in AO Talk. This is where you audition for the WraithxDiomedes mixes. There will only be three as of now. Possibly more if I feel like it, but that's unlikely.
I have no guidelines as to their physical appearance besides; LOOK AT THE BREED HANDBOOK FOR INFORMATION ON BOTH WRAITHS AND DIOMEDES! Also, follow the eye guidelines of the god's breed you are auditioning for.
They must follow the guidelines of either or a mix of the two breeds.
Rules:
1. You must have another character besides the one you are auditioning for.
2. You must be an active member (Most of you already are.)
3. At least 200 words for the sample post.
4. Sample posts MUST be of a WraithxDiomedes. (I don't care if they're eating someone or killing or stalking etc. Be creative)
5. Also say which god you are applying to be their WraithxDiomedes of.
6. Have a physical description of the mix. (The colors)
Being as they are mixes they can be either stallion or mare.
Taken
Ferinus - None Aequus - None Validus - Crypt

My audition will go here.
Notes for me to use during the writing of my piece:
Wraith: A visible and physical spirit. So it's basically a ghost, but it can still harm someone, touch someone etc. PM me if you would like to play a wraith character. LifeSpan: Immortal
Diomedes: -Have canine teeth -Long fangs -Faster than all equines except for gods/goddesses -Stronger than all equines except gods/goddesses/Pondus -Eat flesh -Messengers and protectors of Afriel's domain -Can be loners
Audition Name: Crypt
Gender: Stallion
Appearance: A large and bulky stallion whose looks are a warning to his nature. By the looks of him, he is purely skeletal, but that 'bone' s actually flesh that, for him, is easy to move but to the touch is as hard as stone molded to the shape of the slelton. He stands at a massive 23 hands and has a broad chest and sloping shoulders. His legs are long and powerful. From his skeletal face stare two, acidic ywllow eyes. His coat is blood red with black mixed in. When you look closely at his face, which is not advised, you will see the tips of fangs coming from below the lip.
Personality: Crypt is not an equine you want to run into, no matter where or the time of day. His heart is cold to the will of mortals and his mind tuned on only two things: obeying the orders given by Validus and killing. Like the breeds he is descended from, the brute thirsts for the flesh and blood of equines, and will happily stalk, hunt, and eat them daily. However, unlike them, his mind is prettyy one track. Stored deep within the brute is am anger and hatred which, if let loose, will be disasterous. This anger may well make him temporarily uncontrollable until again it is stored. He does not crave for power, but would like respect from lesser creatures.
Creator: Validus or Ferinus... Whichever you think he fits more ^.^
RP Sample: I could go on... but RPing with yourself gets boring.
A religious festival went terribly wrong. The Ignis and Terrenus' feud was fueled. The gods were angered by the trouble and, from this, came a new age. Each god made yet another creation, a pet of sorts. The crosses of wraiths and the mares of diomedes. No two looked the same, nor acted the same. Each was different, and each answered to their god. Validus' creation was the largest and very strong. He looked fearsome, and those looks were just a warning of what to expect from him. A creature of blood-thirst and hate, he was not one to cross. He walked across the god's lands staring at any equine who looked his way with cold, acidic yellow orbs. His tassel snapped against his rump and his head was held high. The creature was, thankfully, not after blood then. When he was here, he was never after blood. Instead he was after his creator, for there was a task for him to complete. His presence had been requested and so he had answered. Whenever an equine saw him they looked at him in fear. How could they not? He looked skeletal, like a dead thing walking, but he was not. He was actually a creature of flesh, the flesh hard as rock to the touch and molded to the bone but easy, for him, to move. Still it did not stop the fearful looks that kept getting thrown in his direction. He snorted, eyes narrow and ears pinned against his skull, continuing his walk. He knew exactly where he'd find the god, for they had a set meeting place. But sometimes, just sometimes, he wandered if these meetings were designed simply so he'd show himself to the average equine and instil fear into their hearts. His red pelt was laced with black, like shadows within a pool of blood, and sharp canine teeth poked, just, from below his upper lip. His mane and tail, also mainly red with black strands, hung and looked dead. But he cared not for how he looked. He was more interested in serving the cause. When he finally reached the spot he glared around the lands. Where had that god got to? He snorted again, and the god appeared, laughing. But Crypt did not think it was funny that the brute was taking the mess of him. It made him angry. He was better than those other idiotic creations of his. Why laugh at him. He rose his head highed and smirked at him, the wind catching strands of his mane which got pulled back. "Why did you call me here, lord Validus? Is it too much to leave a stallion in peace to hunt as he wishes?" he questioned, glaring. "After all, I could have been feasting on flesh at this moment, but you have dragged me here. If there is not a good explanation I'll be leaving now." It wasn't a threat, it was a promise for as much as he was loyal to the cause he hated wasting time on pointless conversation. He preferred to spend it on important things. Like hunting. The very thought of meat made his mouth water and his eyes widened, the scent of living equines drifting to nasals in tempting fashion. He threw his head impatiently, shifting weight from one front pillar to the other. He just wanted to leave now. To go and hunt, and eat... Yes, food was definitely a high priority at that point. He hadn't eaten for days. His stomach was playing the hell up and he was getting increasingly agitated. "You have ten seconds to answer me, Validus, or should I just leave now?" Respect was obviously not something he had a lot of. He just hated time being wasted. If there was a job for him to do he wanted to go do it, if only so he could go hunting after. After all, all he could think of at that point was flesh and blood. It was all around him. Perhaps he could take one of the herd members when Validus wasn't looking... But he dared not try. "I brought you here for a reason, Crypt. Perhaps you should learn some patience." The god, looking non too happy replied. Crypt looked to him and snorted, rolling his eyes in sarcastic mannor. When would the god accept he wasn't going to change. He didn't have the time, or the patience, to change himself. Maybe if the god just accepted that the pair would get on better, but you could never expect much of a god... They were worse than Crypt, in the crossbreed's mind. "I want you to do something, Crypt. I need you to scare Ferinus for me. Stalk one of his herd. But no killing and don't mess it up." Crypt looked taken aback but, finally, nodded his head in agreement. If he couldn't kill, well, he'd just have to live without killing. But once his task was over he was going hunting. Oh yes, his stomach was important. After all, he wasn't dead... He was just an odd crossbreed that looked like a skelton. The conception he was dead bugged him more than the god's incapability to accept he wasn't changing and that was hard.
