An idea... But I need some opinions

I am considering starting a new roleplay with a slightly different plotline... I would much appreciate it if you would read on and give me your thoughts/ideas/suggestions/etc.

The story is still in dispute in my head but it goes something along these lines:
[/li][li] Cetus Coursh- Leader of Coursh Kingdom- Angel- 'Good guy'
[/li][li] Pyxis Zulil- Leader of Zulil Kingdom- 'Bad guy'
[/li][li] Cetus and Pyxis used to be best friends but something (exactly what still undecided) happened to make them fall out and become enemies
[/li][li] Flamira Blade is the only current long-term wanderer allowed, is the adopted daughter of XCetus and a friend of Zulil
[/li][li] There's a war between Zulil and Coursh

Character types:
[/li][li]Angels
[/li][li]Fallen angels
[/li][li]Demons (males common, females rare)
[/li][li]Land elves
[/li][li]Forest elves
[/li][li]Ghosts
[/li][li]Punishers (very rare)
[/li][li]Tainters (very rare)
[/li][li]Reapers (very rare)

Excuse my... excessive use of stuff. So, you need ideas as to 'what happened to make them fall out and become enemies'? =O

Yeah. Last night I thought perhaps they sued to fight in a war on the same time and Pyxis' love was in Cetus' little group and ended up dead... But I'm not sure how it would work
