Here, in the midst of the land, lies The Wishing Well, domain of Validus. A spiraling hole deep into the earth, The Wishing Well sustains only a few hardy plants. Small wildlife, such as foxes and rabbits, are sometimes seen here, but rarely anything larger than a wolf, for many sacrifice bones on the steep trek downwards. Spanish moss clings to every pore in the stone that circumferences The Wishing Well, as well as grime. Deep echoes can be heard from miles under, fading off into an eternal pitch below. At the bottom, a land as mysterious and malleable as the stallion who rules here exists, seemingly changing constantly and yet remaining the same forever. Through the narrow, harsh mountain pass which grants entrance to the land, one would find a litany of caverns illuminated in cerulean reflected from the sky onto the film of water and mist which permanently blankets the lands. To successfully navigate through the tunnels would require the aid of a guide who knows them, or else risk being lost for many a days. At the center of the hollow is an area not unlike a courtyard, ringed by the caverns, and in this stronghold the horses thrive. A large pool of water fed by natural aqueducts accumulates in the center of the hollow, and the sandy banks sweep into seemingly endless flows of grass. It is near impossible to determine how wide this kingdom is, for there is a thick mist perceptually drifting a few feet above the ground, and to strangers the mist causes this land to 'transform'. It is said that the hollow is a secondary home to ghosts, however the ethereal suggestion is known to be simply the light bodies of fireflies which forever illuminate the mist at night.
